My name is Aaron Juckette, owner of TAVERN on the bend. I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little about this exciting adventure!
After graduating culinary school, I worked in the restaurant industry, in one way or another, and became a head chef by the age of 24. It’s always been a dream to open a restaurant. Now, I have the time and what better place than where I have spent most of my life, the Lake of the Ozarks.
One of my most memorable travel experiences was in New York’s, Central Park’s Tavern on the Green. I remember how beautiful it was seeing the trees light up and glow. So, when the opportunity for this location on Horseshoe Bend Parkway became available, I wanted to bring a little of that to the lake.
Through travels I have tasted so many wonderful dishes at amazing restaurants and with the help of my chef, Shane Claspill, we will be serving up prime steaks, seafood, and other amazing entrees with a Lake Ozark twist.
